day 2
Out ward, but the sky still ominous.
Ominously watching us and holding it in
until those last moments, held too tightly leaked a bit
and then waited until we were snug and sound in our bushes.
It opened up to give our plants a bit of the right thing
and today all opened with sunshine and breeze.
We made a debut yesterday.
And with bare muscles moved 1.5 tons about three miles.
Ready to get the other systems running and working.
Still close enough to see the smokestack,
but far enough away to feel free and forward. and on. and on.

I am on dry land in St Paul, but
have you both in my thoughts (and if
I was a man of faith, prayers as well).
Your trek inspires me...I will be
closely watching you from cyberspace.
Your are (get ready!) a Toolbar

hello lovely ladies,
i, too, am following you from cyberspace, via new mexico. i am thinking of you both, feeling impressed and amazed that you are sailing down the river in a vehicle of your own making, living proof of the wonders of imagination (and technical prowess). i'll be sending you love and watching for updates!

Dear, dear, beautiful strong women - It's so exciting to see you are on your way, we've all been thinking of you with this scary weather everywhere. I feel blessed as to have been upon your vessel, it is amazing! Good luck to you, be safe and HAVE FUN! Lucy and Oliver ask about you often, both with intrigue and total fear. I can't wait to share your blog with them.
All our thoughts to you!
Laura & family
I C Bernadette is able to support you
Onwards towards rainbows and through storms
gliding in smooth waters
and tied up nearby watching you
escaping the rain in bushes.
Lovely life lapping
As you work hard
And languish upon her deck
supported by the River.
Ahhh...Beautiful!
Francesca
